Gregory Spowart, MD, has been a cardiothoracic surgeon for three decades, performing more than 300 heart surgeries annually. Dr. Spowart joined Community Hospital’s Tyler Heart Institute in 2009 and Montage Medical group in 2019. His practice includes a broad range of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, complex aortic procedures, and surgical ablation for atrial fibrillation. Dr. Spowart graduated from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed an internship at UCLA and residencies at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University, both in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board-certified in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
